“Neuro-Ophthalmology in the 21st Century”
Dr. Wayne Cornblath did his Neurology training at the University of Pennsylvania where he was first exposed to Neuro-Ophthalmology. This was followed by fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Cornblath then joined the faculty at University of Michigan and has been there since 1989. He has an active clinical Neuro-Ophthalmology practice.
Dr. Cornblath is involved in resident and fellowship education along with teaching at the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Indian Health Service. He has been involved in the ONTT and IONDT trials along with work on Giant Cell Arteritis, Myasthenia Gravis, and neuro imaging.
