Jamie Rosenberg, MD, is a pediatric ophthalmologist and the Director of Medical Student Education and Residency Program Director in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University and then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She did her residency in ophthalmology at Einstein-Montefiore and fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She returned to Einstein-Montefiore to join the ophthalmology faculty in 2010. She is the immediate past president of the Medical Student Educators Council of the Association of University Professors in Ophthalmology (AUPO). Based on her excellence in teaching, she has been inducted into the Davidoff Society and was awarded the 2020 Award for Excellence in Medical Student Education from the AUPO and American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has a research interest in medical education and has published multiple articles on the subject. Her presentation on “Innovations in Adult Learning” focuses on the current research in adult education and applies it to residency training.
