Kenneth Morgenstern, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.C.S. grew up in the Mainline Suburbs of Philadelphia and attended college at Emory University. He returned to Philadelphia to attend medical school at the Medical College of Philadelphia/Hahnemann. He went on to complete his general surgical residency at MCP and Hahnemann University. He did an additional residency in Ophthalmology at West Virginia University. After residency, he was awarded several fellowships in Oculoplastics and Facial Cosmetics, Pediatric Oculoplastic and Craniofacial Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery at Ohio State University.
Dr. Morgenstern is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and certified by the American Society of Orbital Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He actively serves as the Secretary of Education, the Chairman of the Oral Boards, and Chairman of the Thesis Committee of ASOPRS.
Dr. Morgenstern is an Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University and Wills Eye Center and founder of the Morgenstern Center for Orbital and Facial Plastic Surgery. He has authored numerous scientific papers, books and book chapters and most recently has been issued a US Patent for his discovery of A Method for Preventing Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction.
