Anne M. Nachazel, M.D. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist practicing in the Detroit area. She was educated at the University of Notre Dame and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her residency was completed at William Beaumont Hospital. She is a Past President of the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Public Service Committee for the Society. She is a Councilor Emeritus for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She serves as Chair of the Peer Review Committee of the Wayne County Medical Society. She is an Assistant Professor of the Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital School of Medicine. Awards received include the Secretariat Award for Commitment to Public Advocacy from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Raymond R. Margherio Teaching Award.
