Sandra Fernando Sieminski, MD,
Associate Professor, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, Director of Glaucoma, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo
Dr. Sieminski completed her residency at Georgetown University, where she served as chief resident in her final year, and her glaucoma fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She joined the Ross Eye Institute in 2010, receiving the Resident Teaching Award in 2012, and becoming the Vice Chair of the department in 2018. Dr. Sieminski has spoken at several meetings nationally and internationally, and was an invited speaker in 2020 for Glaucoma Subspecialty day at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has a special interest in laser therapy in glaucoma. Dr. Sieminski also serves as the Ophthalmology Clerkship Director for the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and is the Chief of Service for Ophthalmology at the Erie County Medical Center.
